MOLLY SANDHU
Reincarnation of Waves
Size:24x48 in
Frame:Gallery Wrap
Do you believe in reincarnation? I have heard so many stories of reincarnation. Are they even true? If
reincarnation doesn’t happen, then is our existence span just from our birth to death? I have always
loved to hear about stories from the mythologies of Ramayana and Mahabharata and the best stories
are of reincarnation. Why is that so? Is it the longing of the human soul to never end, or is it that the
human soul is endless? When we look back, we don’t remember our beginning. We formulate a
childhood based on stories told to us by others. We adopt the parents given to us. We adopt the religion
given to us as our own. Throughout our lives, we are rocked into a world of thoughts like a child in a
cradle and before we can barely understand the meaning of our existence, we are ready to go hoping to
be born again. The sea is full of answers. The waves unendingly race towards the shore and disappear.
But as soon as a set of waves crash, you look over the sea and you can see the reincarnation of the
waves.
