Painting the Heroic Soul with Gold

The bright, yellowish pure metal has bedazzled many over the centuries. It is one of the metals that can’t be changed easily into anything else. If one has to personify it, it could be called a hero. Beat it, cut it, but you can’t change it. The hero has a mind of itself. The hero has a lofty soul. Humanity has been gifted time and again with heroes. When I read the stories of heroic lives, I feel that they were Gods who came down on earth briefly, for theirs were impossible existences. They have all left indelible marks on the human race. Fearless, salutable heroes, God sends them amongst us only after painting their heroic souls with gold.
